Author Jill Hardie has written two children's books with messages for people of all ages. Her first book, The Sparkle Box, A Gift with the Power to Change Christmas was inspired by her family's tradition of giving a gift of compassion to Jesus on Christmas Day. The Sparkle Egg, A Symbol of the True Promise of Easter, is inspired by the transformation Jill experienced when she first accepted Jesus' gift to us – the gift of forgiveness.
"The gift of forgiveness through Jesus is precious.
But so often, we don’t accept his gift.
We ask for forgiveness, but hold onto feelings of guilt and shame.
The Sparkle Egg reminds us that God intends for us to live in the freedom of grace, and the best way we can honor His gift of forgiveness is to truly accept it."
